Short films

Watch our short films made by The Offshoot Foundation with local young people. The films explore:

• How the grave of the Winfarthing woman was found

• How the items in her grave went from the ground in Winfarthing to a gallery in Norwich Castle Museum

• Metal detecting top tips

• How archaeologists piece together clues to learn about the past

• Anglo-Saxon every day life

These films were made as part of our project Coins and Crosses: Seeking the Anglo-Saxons in Winfarthing and Waveney, with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
