About the Winfarthing Anglo-Saxon Project

The Winfarthing Anglo-Saxon Project was formed after a spectacular archaeological discovery was made in our village which is rewriting Anglo-Saxon history.

 

The Project is a group of local people who have come together to form a charity to:

• Stay in touch with archaeological developments related to this find

• Organise and host events for the local community to connect with this heritage and with each other
