Winfarthing lady learning resource

This learning resource introduces pupils to the fascinating story of the Winfarthing woman and how archaeologists have solved some of the mysteries surrounding her.

It has been created as part of our project Coins and Crosses: Seeking the Anglo-Saxons in Winfarthing and Waveney, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

 

The resource has been written by Dale Banham, who is an experienced history teacher and an Honorary Fellow of both the Historical Association and the Schools History Project.

​

The resource has been developed with Key Stage 2 pupils in mind, but it could also be used with students of other ages.

​

We would like to thank the staff and pupils at Bunwell and Banham primary schools for their help in trialling and developing these resources.
